US Army Original vintage ww2 wwii RANGERS DIAMOND no glow D-DAY shoulder PATCH

This is a Diamond-shaped shoulder sleeve patch for the US ARMY WW2 RANGERS. The design is seen in action during D-day with them in many pictures of the era and this one looks to be a nice cotton original. It does not glow under black light which is one indicator of ww2 era. It is in condition shown and a sew-on version.

Several people I know with knowledge have looked it over as well. This one came from a collection so I have no clear knowledge of origin, just what the patch condition shows and characteristics it exhibits. This crazy price is what I have to pay the postal service.
