The item up for sale is an vintage, original WW II United States Army 542nd Parachute Infantry Battalion patch. Wool with cheese cloth back. Measures approximately 3-3/4 in diameter.

No glow under black light. It looks like there on the 5, 4 and portion of the left side of the parachute, the white embroidery is yellowed a bit or there are non-white threads.

The bottom of'N' of'Infantry' non white thread. Overall, very clean, terrific color. Sort of dimpling along the edges.
