82d Division/82d Infantry Division 1920's 1930's early WW2 US Army

82d Division/82d Infantry Division 1920's 1930's early WW2 US Army. My best guess is this patch made for the 82d Division when it was in the Organized Reserves in the 1920's or 1930's. Could also be from 82d Infantry Division when designation was changed when Federalized in February 1942. The stitching of AA is over some kind of stiffener to raise the lettering, sewn on to a blue cloth disc, sewn on to a red twill like cloth square sewn on to an OD green backing material.

The red and OD backing material are sewn together with brown stitching. The patch has a cut edge. However there are 3 pin prick sized spots that glow under black light on the lower left red square area. Some contaminate spray/mist got on to the patch at some time in the past. The white, blue and brown threads burn.
