This patch is in very good tunic removed condition showing some light wear to the front side. There is a thin line of khaki stitch along one edge of the patch indicating that it was sewn to a tunic - see photos. This patch is recently out of the estate of the person who assembled his patch collection during the war era. The 44th Infantry Regiment was activated in 1946 as the "New" Philippine Scouts.
