US WWII Officer's Belted Service Coat, 1942, 2nd infantry, 5th Army Signal Corp

US WWII Officer's Belted Service Coat, 1942, 2nd infantry, 5th Army Signal Corp. Size 38L Ribbons denote American Defense Service, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign. This gentleman was a 1st Lieutenant who served 2 years overseas according to the gold bars on the left sleeve. It is not missing a bottom button, that's where the belt sat on the coat(flat button makes it smoother). This Officer was very proud of his uniform and took very good care of it.

I couldn't find any moth damage, just some loose threads on the right epaulette, one tiny snag on the front and little dirt here and there. It could use a trip to the dry cleaner but not a necessity, it would display nice as is. To be sure of a perfect fit, please see the approximate measurements below. Shoulder to Shoulder Measures 18. Sleeves Measure 24.5 from the Shoulder to the Cuff. Underarm to Underarm Measures 20 Flat Across.

Length is 28 from the Collar Bottom to the Hem Bottom. No tears, holes or broken seams. I do the best of my ability to research and describe each item I sell, so I may not be correct on my description.
