WWII U. S. 5th ARMY SHOULDER PATCH ITALIAN MADE BULLION, LEATHER BACKED

This is an extremely fine World War II Italian made U. 5th Army bullion patch that is in excellent condition. The letter, A and the numeral, 5 are constructed of hand embroidered heavy metallic gold bullion thread embroidered on a red and blue cotton background. The patch is with a heavy metallic gold bullion thread around the outer edge. The bullion is now beautifully age toned.

The reverse is faced with blue textured leather. The patch measures 2¾ x 2 inches.
