This is the stubby wing style patch that is executed in hand embroidered cotton thread on a Melton blue wool background. The red center of the star is embroidered in red cotton thread. The reverse is faced with the typical black fabric back. Measures 2½ inches in diameter and lightly soiled from age and actual field use.
