Wwii U. S. Army Medal Of Honor Blazer Pocket Patch Bullion

This is a beautiful World War II Army Medal of Honor Blazer Pocket Patch that remains in excellent condition. It is exquisitely machine embroidered in gold and silver metallic bullion thread on a blue corduroy type background. The image of the medal is executed in gold bullion with the wreath embroidered in heavy emerald, green cotton thread. The medal is surrounded by thirteen silver bullion stars.

The word VALOR is in gold bullion thread on a yellow background. The outside border of the patch is of black felt and exhibits some areas of moth damage as can be seen in the photos.

The patch is nicely padded giving it a nice three-dimensional look. The reverse is faced with black canvas type material and has four pins with clutches for attachment to the blazer or civilian jacket. The patch measurers 3¼ inches in width by 4½ inches in length.
