WWII US Army Air Force Leather A-2 Jacket Name Tag Patch Chinese CBI & Photo

Original WWII era name tag patch from Frank E. I found some info and a photo of him in his A-2 online (no hard copies included). I don't know what his unit was, except that he was in the Pacific theater and is wearing Air Crew wings in the photo.
