Here is a lot of WWII US Army Air Forces uniforms owned by an officer who made Captain, according to rank insignia. Based on the single DI pin and the tailor's tag, he was a training officer with the West Coast USAAF Training Center in Santa Ana, California. There are two khaki wool officer's A1 dress coats and one officer's shirt, each with Pacific theatre made patches.
One of the patches is made with colored bullion threads and is exceptional. Size of jackets is 39 S. The tailor-made jacket with bullion patch has a few tiny moth nips, as shown in pictures. The other dress jacket, issue variety, is missing two epaulet buttons and the patch is loosely sewn on.
