Material: HBT (cotton), Metal (buttons). Special Note: The 86th Infantry Combat Division, also known as the Blackhawk Division, was a unit of the United States Army in World War I and World War II. The division was nicknamed the "Black Hawk Division" after the Sauk Chief Black Hawk. Frederic McLaughlin was a commander with the 333rd Machine Gun Battalion of the 86th Infantry Division during World War I. In 1926, McLaughlin was granted a franchise by the National Hockey League, which he named the Chicago Blackhawks after his wartime unit.
