Army officer's service tunic named to Paul G. Pennoya, a member of the 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division - one of the most decorated combat units of the European Theater. The jacket features original wartime insignia, including a hand-sewn 3rd Infantry Division shoulder patch, officer's infantry branch insignia, ribbon bar with mounted Silver Star ribbon (unverified), European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign ribbon with 5 battle stars, and a French Croix de Guerre with palm. Beautifully preserved, this tailored tunic retains its original name tag inside the inner pocket and is dated 1945.
Size approximately 39R (chest: 21", sleeves: 24", length: 32). A rare and highly collectible piece with strong unit attribution and excellent display value. This is an original historical artifact from the Second World War era, and therefore shows natural wear and tear resulting from age and regular use during the period. What you see in the pictures is actual item you will get.
(obviously except the mannequin and accessories for display).
